Sara's Bavarian Hittys Take a Nature Watch

There's not a lot to see outside yet--but at least most of the snow is gone.
The Hittys have found a few purple crocus' bravely blooming.

 

Everything looks so fresh and spring-like!

 

Sara's Bavarian Hitty has found a rock to sit on.

 

The sun is making her feel sleepy.

 

Bavarian Girl is a bit wistful--it will be a while
before the daffodils bloom.

 

"I could sit her all day."

 

Bavarian Boy has taken his friend on a walk in the woods.

 

The first thing they do is climb the lilac on the edge of the lawn.

 

Sara's Bavarian boy is not afraid of heights.

 

Soon, the gang finds their way to the pond.

 

Too cold for swimming, but just right to sit in the sun.
There were some geese on the edges of the open water
earlier, but they flew away when the nosiy boys
tramped their way to the pond.

 

The boys peer under the ice shelf, anxious for any signs of fish.
Not yet! It's still too cold for the fish to come out.
