Chapter Seven

In Which we Introduce the Rest of Our New Friends
and Head for Home.

Sophrenia (right) met the AGA Headmistress while on a tour of Colonial Williamsburg.
She got along so well with them all, she decided to move to Northern NY and
work at the Ash Grove Academy as an Herbal Instructor.

Aunt Hickory, (Possibly a relative of Miss Hickory?) from New Hampshire,
has joined the AGA Family

A Larry Tyksen Souvenir Doll from the UFDC 2001 Luncheon.

(More Pictures will be available in our new Museum when it is ready!)

The Tyksen Hitty cuddles two Orem Peg Wooden Dolls

A Dressed and Undressed set of Orem Peg Wooden Dolls.

A bigger Orem Peg Wooden Doll.
My youngest daughter, Anne DeGroat,
purchased this from the Orem's Vendor Table for me as a birthday gift.

Three Orphans who will be living at the AGA. They are Reproduction Dolls.

The Two Shoulderheads patiently awaiting bodies are from Doll Artist Sara Cole,
although she let me paint the red-head myself.

Granny Smith, an Applehead Doll carved and created by Doll Artist Melody Martin,
arrived while we were all at Williamsburg enjoying the Reunion.
She kept order among the students who had to remain behind due to health considerations.

Hitty MaryJane (right) birthday present from by oldest daughter, Doll Artist Sara Cole.
I suspect she gave her to me because Hitty MaryJane is quite a handful!

See what I mean? There is mischief in this face.

Perched on her chair is a clay fairie from Doll Artist TC Vollum.

And we end our Tour with a Rest Area found on the way home.
The Hittys were quite disappointed to find out it was not Phoebe Preble's original house.

Thanks for looking, and we hope you had fun!
