In Which I Visit the Lighthouse
and Meet a New Granny
When I arrived at Mrs. Plum's lighthouse, they were
gathered in the living room.
Hitty Maggie, (of the Hilltop Hittys) was chairing
a meeting
concerning Mrs. Plum's fresh foodstuffs, and the local Food Pantry.
Since I didn't want to interrupt the meeting, I went
on down to the kitchen,
where some of the AGA staff were busy preparing lunch.
Hitty Mary Jane selects ripe apples for an apple crisp.
Even Hitty Pearl S. Buck (our Hittygirls Travel Doll)
pitches in and helps with the preparation.
I was feeling a bit peckish, so I had some fresh cornbread.
I couldn't leave without visiting Fluffy!
I felt sorry for him stuck in the cage,
but Hitty Jayne assured me that he flies about
the school all day, and would shortly be
visiting one of the classrooms.
Alas, my time was up, and it was time to leave.
I exchanged a few words in Bird to Fluffy, and....
...was escorted to my car by the Bavarian Twins.
It was here that I met a new Granny,
who informed me that she would soon be
going to live with TC.
I was a bit concerned that she had to spend her time up-side down,
but she assured me it felt quite nice, and after all,
it wasn't forever!
With great reluctance, I hopped into my car,
and made my way back to full size.
And that was how the first day of school at the AGA started!
