There are 100 Campers and Staff Attending the Opening Day Ceremonies

Mrs. Plum. Camp Director, welcomes the Campers to Camp Week 2005
"Do you see this chest," she said? The Campers all yelled 'yes!'
"One of the things we are doing this week is a Treasure Hunt, and the
Treasure is IN THIS CHEST!"
The Campers yelled and clapped. They wanted to open it right then and there,
but Mrs. Plum laughed and refused to let them fool with the locks.

| Hitty Maggie holds one of the Camp Mini-Hittys, while Mrs. Hestia Tea and Mr. Giles chat. Mrs. Hestia Tea is responsible for the new Camp Name, Camp Piney Woods. She said that there are so many pines around the Camp, that it should be made the official Camp Tree! Mr. Giles is nervous, as he will be speaking soon. |

| Hitty-Kit is wearing the hat that Mrs. Milly made for her just before she left for new employment. Great-Aunt Teddie explains to the Campers that she will be passing out song books soon, and they should hang onto them, as there are only enough to go around and no extras. |
