We also have a lot of horseback riding here at the AGA. We can ride them in the winter, but it isn't as much fun because it is so cold.

Why I Like Summer By Hitty Ruth Word Count 147
Summer is my favorite time of the year. We go outside and play wearing a simple summer dress that is cool and comfortable. We put water in the old washtub and put it in the shade under the big Maple tree then we play with our toy boats and baby dolls. It's fun because the water splashes us and that cools us off. We like to plant flowers and vegetables in our gardens. The flowers look very pretty and the vegetables are good to eat. The bumblebees get the pollen from the flowers and then pollinate other flowers. I like bumblebees, they look so soft and pretty but you have to be careful so you don't get stung. We like to cook hotdogs on the grill and smother them with onions. And the best thing about summer is attending Camp Ash Grove! |
Why I Like Summer by Hitty June I adore summer, because that's when I was carved.
My Person was spending a week at a camp on Butterfield Lake. She'd spent
plenty of time at the Nutshell when she was a child, as her best friend's
family (who lived three houses down) owned several camps on the lake.
The camps are a short walk from their homes up on the hill! And that's why I adore summer. |
