Hitty Whit and Hitty Ruth have discovered the bunnies. Their chore today was to feed some fresh carrots, and check the water bottles. Bunnies need fresh vegetables every day, in addition to dry pellets and clean hay.

The girls also learned the bunnies like snuggles.

Hitty Sue gathered eggs and threw out the chicken feed for the hens and roosters. But her favorite part of her chore was when she got to play with the chickens.

"I didn't know chickens were so friendly!" she said. "These chickens are like pet dogs!"

Cuz Britta helps Buffy exercise Buffy's horse, Pumpkin.

"We'll be having a horse-back ride on Danger Ridge soon," says Buffy. "Can you ride?"

"I never have before," says Cuz Britta.

"Oh, don't worry," says Buffy. "I think that when you are done with my class, you will be riding like a pro!"

Hitty Thankful and Hitty HesterB carry buckets of fresh water around to some of the animals. Hitty Thankful adores the Camp Goat, who is very gentle, and even gives the smaller Hittys rides.

"She has a tiny saddle!" says Hitty HesterB. "I saw it in the barn."

Hitty-Kit and Hitty Rachelle brush down one of the ponies.

"I'm afraid of the big horses," says Hitty HesterB. "What if they bite?"

Hitty-Kit shakes her head. "Oh, no, they don't bite! I brush them and give them apples. The AGA horses are all very nice."

The girls give the pony a good long brush. It helps get rid of dirt, burrs, and other yucky stuff from the pony's hair.

When chores are done, Hitty Faith gets a ride on one of the ponies. Xander leads her around the pasture.

"I'm going on the ride to Danger Ridge," says Xander. "Are you?"

"I sure am!" says HItty Faith. "I signed up for it right off!"
