At Last! All of the Campers Know the Big Camp Secret

Xander, the AGA carpenter, has been busy building an ark for the students.
Today, they took a field trip to the Big Rocks, where the ark will be.

 

 

"This is a fun Big Camp secret." says Hitty Maggy.

"And relaxing," says Mrs. Baker. "We don't have to run around anywhere."
But some of the Campers like to run around! Here are two of the Atkinson girls, climbing the Big Rocks.

 

 

 

 

Pepito climbs up to visit with two of the SCH girls.

"This is fun," he says. "I like rock climbing!"

"Hey!" cries one of the Mini-Hittys. "Is this all there is to the Big Camp Secret? I thought someone said--"

"Shhhhh!" cry out the Bitty Boys. "Don't spoil it!"

 

 

Suddenly, Buffy appears on her horse, Pumpkin. "OK, Campers, I need all of the Guest Campers right away!"

The girls all look at each other, mystified.

 

 

 

"Load into the wagon, and we'll have a fun ride," she adds.

Pumpkin pulls the wagon around for a while, and then stops right in the middle of what looks like nowhere.

"I almost forgot!" cries Buffy. "I have a little present for all of you. You did so well on the horseback ride to Danger Ridge, that I have this book for you all."

She passed out copies of her book, and the girls excitedly turned the pages and looked at the picture of Buffy and Pumpkin on the back.

 

 

 

 

 

 

"Buffy?" asks Hitty Rachelle, "Can I have a ride on Pumpkin?"

"In a minute," says Buffy, with a grin.

"This is nice," says Hitty Whit, but why would she give us this book? We have to go home in a few days."

"I don't know, says Hitty-Kit. "But it is interesting to learn how to take care--"

Just then, Buffy's whistle blows. "OK, Campers! Just a short walk over the hill before we go back to Camp."

 

 

 

 

 

 Cuz Britta sighs. "I'm about walked out," she says, but gamely gets to her feet.

"Buffy? Can I sit here and look at my new book?" asks Hitty Thankful.

"I think you should come with us and look at something.....special," says Buffy, with a laugh.

 

 

 
Now the girls are intrigued. Something Special? What could that be?

 

Soooo....maybe there is just a little bit more.........
