After Dinner, the Campers gather for fun, games, and getting acquainted.
Being the winner of the last game of Red Light, Green Light,
Hitty Buzby gets to be the leader of the next new game--Simon Says.
Simon Says....stand on your head!
"Ummmph!" mumbles Emmet, wobbling slightly.
"I did it! I did it!"
Some of the Campers need a wee bit of help.
"Good job!" yells Hitty Zora in encouragement.
Some of the campers are a bit shy about standing on their
heads in dresses.
"How long can you stay that way?" Hitty Zora wonders.
Hitty Belinda is a bit wobbly, but is going to make it!
A sea of upside down Hittys.
"Yeah!" yell the cheerleaders.
Emmet is stuck--! The puppy is sleeping so soundly he can't move.
At the end of the evening, Joe Bob wheels Great-Aunt Teddie off to her
house.
Some of the campers gather to hear a bedtime story.
Bitty Boo is especially fond of the Mother Goose book.
The older girls gather to giggle and plan....
...and it's probably best that we can't hear them.
"I've always liked a woman in uniform," think Bitty Boy Danny
Garrish.
"Would you girls like to hear a story?" asks Hitty Helen.
Hitty Petal is reading Squirrel Nutkin.
And Bitty Barbara is getting nervous!
Everyone heads off to the bunkhouse and tents as Mrs. Plum
gathers a sleepy Baby Hickory.
