When it's mealtime at Camp, everyone pitches in with KP duty.
Hitty Nicola Jane and Connie Hitty are in charge of desserts today.
Aunt Hickory has brought her knitting along,
but is having more fun enjoying all the Campers.
"Is it just me," says MeMaw, "or are the Campers
especially well-behaved this year?"
"There's nothing better than a good fondue!"
"Sooooo.....cake?" asks Hitty Nicola Jane.
"Sounds easy enough. I think we should make chocolate!" says
Connie Hitty.
The Chef has picked a basket of fresh garden vegetables.
Miss MacDonald plans to make her famous vegetable soup today.
Great-Aunt Teddie sits in the shade with China Charlie.
Hitty Carianna is passing around the tossed salad.
The boys are providing dinner music.....or so they imagine.
The Pollys refill the supper table.
Hitty Minerva McGonnigal has a captive audience as she shares
her story of her scar, and the Great Battle.
"Orange Dreamsickle Cake--yum!"
A cupcake is as big as an entire cake to an Eensie.
"come on! I'll catch you!" says Bitty Sharon.
Dutch Girl is not entirely sure this is something they ought to be doing.
So, what is it they are doing?
Ah! Winching Sister Hickory up to the top of the treehouse.
"Me next! me next!" yells Bitty Boy Bobbie.
