Camp Piney Woods Uniforms
We are designing some new uniforms for the girls this year and Mrs. Plum thought jumpers might be nice. We still don't have the right pattern, but we are on the right track! Check out our progress.
Hitty Charlotte tries the pattern on Hitty Iris Raikes.
It seems to be the right size.
Mrs. Plum decides which color to use first.
"Pink," she murmurs. "My favorite."
"Gack! This is too girly!" says Bitty Boy Bobby.
"I'm not wearing no flowers on my shorts!"
Wolfie doesn't think it is too girly. Bitty Boy Bobby decides her might
be able to wear the green after all...but no pink!
Hitty Coal has another pattern to try.
It would fit any smaller Hittys coming to Camp Piney Woods.
HItty Iris Raikes traces the pattern onto the wrong side of the fabric.
Mrs. Plum gathers pins to hold the back and front together.
Bitty Boy Bobby makes himself useful.
He tries to snitch a pin to use later as a sword, but it is confiscated
by Mrs. Plum.
Some of the Brown Hittys get right to work.
Hitty Quaker Brown irons the jumper carefully.
"I love this pink!" she says.
Hitty Bench Brown is ready for more ironing.
