"Are you ready to be Sorted into your Cabins?"
Six Cabins at Camp Piney Woods
And we all get along.
Just reach down in to the basket
And pick where you belong!
White Pine for Hitty Reiko!
Edgar has managed to pull out a Tamarack.
Whew! Thinks Roy. I'm in Tamarack with Edgar.
"Yes!! Cedar for me!" cries Isabelle.
The three Big Camp Secret Boys are all in Hemlock? Hmmm!
And so is Jean Pierre!
Hitty Charlotte watches as Hitty Mary Patty picks her cabin.
Baby Hitty was nervous about picking, but she got some help from one
of the Big Camp Secret Girls.
The other two Big Camp Secret Girls are in Spruce.
"Cedar rocks!" shouts Hitty Colleen.
"Hemlock for me?" Hitty Elizabeth Ann is happy now!
"Yo, Roy! I got White Pine!" says Merryn.
(Note: while family members generally go to the same Cabin,
it is not unusual to be sorted into a different Cabin.)
Hitty Rachelle has tied a pink ribbon on her ankle to celebrate
the fact that she is in Cedar.
"Yes!! Spruce!!" yells Hitty Nona.
"I'm in Cedar? Cool!" says Hitty Virginia.
"Hey, sis! Me too!" says Hitty Daisy.
Hitty Ruth would have like to be in Cedar with her friend, Hitty Colleen,
but she is happy with Juniper, too!
The basket sends up White Pine for Hitty Babinga.
And last of all, Bitty Hitty Clarabelle pulls out a White Pine!
Note: The Campers are sorted according to the Basket's
wishes.
And the Basket is never wrong!
