Sleeping Under the Stars
One of the highlights of Camp is sleeping under
the stars.
Here the Campers receive an air mattress, blanket, and pillow.
Many Thanks to Jan for making the blankets and pillows,
and to Bobbi and Katie for looking at bubble wrap and
thinking "How could they use this at Camp?"!
And finally, to Anne R.--for the fun on page three!

And final Sleeping
Pictures on Page Three....if you can call it 'sleeping'.

The Campers gather in the Courtyard for a Sleep Under the Stars Night.

Everyone gets an air mattress, a blanket, and a pillow in the Camp colors
of Pink and green.

Of course, it's a bit early for actual sleep yet!
So let's look around and see what the Campers are doing.

Some of the Campers play in the Treehouse.

"Ok, stick out your arms and it's almost like flying!" says
Fairy.
Big Camp Secret girl is too scared to hold her arms away from the tire
swing.

Isabelle loves the new sign that says 'Fun'.
She can't wait for Arts and Crafts, because she saw a
huge tub of foamie letters and is pretty sure
they're going to get to play with them somehow!

Miss Figg hands out the Air Mattresses.
"One each, girls," she says.

Next station--blankets and pillows!
"I love the frogs!" says Hitty Nancy. "I've always loved
frogs.
Except, not the ones the boys put in the shower rooms!"

The last stop--snacks! Fresh vegetables, chips, cheese, crackers, milk
from the AGA farms, and of course--chocolate cake!

Hitty Elizabeth Ann has brought a blanket for Great-Aunt Teddie.
"What a thoughtful child!" exclaims G-A Teddie, who was not
really
all that chilled in the 80 degree temps, but certainly appreciates
thoughtfullness when she see it.

"Make sure you take a long air mattress," says Hitty Petal.
"The blankets are all the same size."

The staff keeps an eye out for mischief.
Not, mind you, that any will occur!
Constant Vigilance!
