The Big Camp Secret--Revealed!
Those are the words every Camper waits for, since 2004, when we had our first Big Camp Secret. That was the year that the entire Camp was taken to visit the Original Hitty in Stockbridge, where she resides year round. This was such a popular treat that, although we couldn't go every year, we did decide to have another Big Camp Secret in 2005--a two-parter! First, Xander Harris, Camp Handyman, along with the Bitty Boys, constructed a wooden Ark for the Campers to play on. Second, Activities Director, Buffy Summers, gave each and every Camper a Horse of his/her very own, to take home! In 2005, it was leaked that the Big Camp Secret involved a celebrity, and so it did. Hagrid, the Professor of Magical Creatures Class at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, agreed to come to Camp Piney Woods and give a lecture (along with some Blast-ended Scroots).
